Pricing

Obviously, with handyman work, the price varies depending on the job in hand and the length of time it will take to complete. However, we understand that most of us like to know roughly how much something is going to cost us and so we have tried to include as much information as possible here.

Essentially, there are two ways of pricing a job - the first way is by quoting an hourly/day rate and the second is by giving you an all-inclusive price for the entire job. Typically, customers will prefer to pay an hourly rate for call-outs and smaller jobs (such as plumbing emergencies), day rates for slightly larger jobs (such as decorating or laying a floor) and would rather have the total price quoted for large jobs (such as having a complete bathroom or kitchen fitted).

Ultimately, it is down to you the customer as to how you would prefer to pay us but, if you are at all unsure, you can contact us any time for a chat and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Pricing structure

Here is an overview of our general hourly/day rate pricing structure:

We are always happy to give a free, no obligation quotation or price estimation for work to be done. This can be by telephone or via email, or we can visit to give a more accurate quotation in the case of more complicated jobs.

Materials

Any materials needed to do the job (with the exception of small sundries such as nails and screws) will be charged on top of the labour costs. However, we are able to get good trade discounts on most materials, including kitchens and bathrooms, and so we can pass these savings on to you, the customer.

Guarantee

All of our work is fully insured by Zurich Commercial Insurance and we can provide details of this on request. Additionally, we guarantee that all work will be done to the highest standard and we will be more than happy to come back and have a look if there is any aspect of our workmanship that you are unhappy with.
